Olivier Grondin holds a B.Sc. degree in geology from the University of Montréal and a Masters in economic geology from McGill University. Senior geologist for Hecla Québec from 2010 to 2015, he held similar positions as exploration geologist, head geologist, exploration manager and project manager for Corporation Minière Alexis – Lac Herbin Mine, Breakwater Resources / NVI Mining – Operations Myra Falls in British Columbia and Cambior. From March 2015, Mr Grondin was the assistant general manager for SOQUEM.
Mr Grondin is a member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ) and Québec Mineral Exploration Association (AEMQ) and Society of Economic Geologists.
Yan Ducharme, Exploration Manager
Yan Ducharme holds a Bachelor degree in Geology and a Master degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Quebec in Montreal. Since then he worked for SEMAFO in Guinea in Western Africa, for Cambior/IAMGOLD at the Sleeping Giant mine and at the Abitibi and Suriname exploration divisions. After, he held various positions within the NioGold Mining Corporation, notably the one of Vice-president exploration for four years, until Osisko Mining bought NioGold. He was also the Regional exploration manager for the Canadian Malartic Group Partnership. In February 2018, Mr. Ducharme became the Exploration manager for SOQUEM.
